Last updated: 2026. This policy explains what Top Ratings Hub collects and how we use it.

What we collect

You can read Top Ratings Hub without giving us any personal data. We only collect data when you choose to interact:

• Reviews you submit: the display name you enter, your review text and star rating (published), and your email address (used only to prevent duplicate or abusive submissions — it is stored as a one-way hash and is never published or shared).
• Security signals: your IP address is processed and stored only as a one-way hash for spam and abuse prevention, then deleted on a short retention schedule.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not require accounts.

Legal basis

We process review content with your consent (the checkbox at submission) and process security signals under our legitimate interest in keeping the site free of spam and fake reviews.

Service providers

• Cloudflare — content delivery, security and (where enabled) the Turnstile anti-bot widget. Cloudflare may process your IP and request metadata as our processor.
• Payment provider — if you purchase a placement, checkout is handled by a Merchant-of-Record (e.g. Polar or Lemon Squeezy); we never see or store your card details.
• Advertising — if banner ads are enabled, the ad network may set its own cookies; see its policy. We use banner ads only (no intrusive pop-ups).

Cookies

We use only essential cookies for security and basic functionality. We do not use cross-site tracking cookies of our own.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links are affiliate links; see our affiliate disclosure. Clicking them may share standard referral information with the merchant.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and similar laws you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. To exercise any right — including removing a review — email [email protected] and we will action it.

Data retention

Published reviews are kept while relevant; hashed security signals are purged on a rolling short-term schedule. We keep only what we need.
